Base station not loud enough

Question

We have an issue where we have our base station on the main floor of our house and the volume set to the loudest possible but when the alarm triggers it cannot be heard in the basement or upstairs. I was told we can’t use multiple base stations but was hoping there was some other product that can be used to provide the siren to other parts of the house where it can’t be heard.

Hi @dinog050. You cannot add another Base Station to your location for an extra siren, but you have other options. You can add a [Dome Siren](https://ring.com/products/dome-siren) for an additional siren. You can also use [Echo devices as sirens for your Ring Alarm](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/4524869247124-Play-Alarm-Sounds-on-Echo-Devices). I hope this helps.
