I completed the setup of my Ring Alarm Pro and my ring devices are within range to my base station. I have the Z Wave Extender that came with the Ring Alarm Pro kit and do not need to use it since my devices are within range to the base station. Should I plug it in anyway or can I put it away to use in the future if needed?
Hi @user12435. You can set it up and plug it in if you’d like, but you do not need to use the Range Extender to use the Ring Alarm system. There’s no issue with putting it away for now and using it at a later time when needed.
