Would glass break sensor work outdoors for car break-ins?
troubleshooting
There's been a wave of car break-ins on my block, with smashed windows. I was thinking maybe I could add a glass break sensor to my Ring system and mount it outside next to my driveway. (It would be sheltered from rain by a covered porch.) The sensor could trigger driveway camera (or even an alarm). Would this work? If not, maybe a product suggestion -- outdoor driveway camera with glass break detection!

Hi @user29537. I would not recommend this for a few reasons. First, The Glass Break Sensor is not rated for outdoor use. Next, with it being the outdoors, there could be a sound that can cause a false positive and inadvertently set of your Ring Alarm system. As we value our neighbors' feedback, we've created a [Feature Request board](https://community.ring.com/c/products/feature-request-board/24). Feel free to add this and any future feature requests there. This will help us to organize and share your requests with our teams here, as well as allow other neighbors to comment and add interest, all in one place. Feel free to link that post you make in the Feature Request board here so other neighbors that come to this thread can easily find your feature!
