Works randomly and at the wrong times

Set up was easy. But this is turning into one of the worst products I've ever bought. Can't reach out directly to Ring. Great! I get a motion notification for every time someone walks or drives past my house. But when someone actually walks up to my door, NOTHING! The motion deception zone is set to my yard up to my porch. Very frustrated with this expensive so-call security doorbell device.
