I installed the Ring doorbell last month. I just noticed it isn’t working. Pushed the button and nothing. Checked power and its got plenty. I flicked the power and got the white ring which dims then brightens. I then push the button and it works, then dies…nothing. I push the button on the side and nothing. What’s the deal I’m lost and frustrated…
Hey @RussZTT. Do you have the Ring Video Doorbell or the Ring Video Doorbell 2? I would recommend charging the battery after taking it out (for the 2) or charging it by plugging it in the back! If you have the Doorbell or Doorbell 2 hardwired, it may still need to be charged every once in awhile, so you may have to ensure it is online in the app and fully charge it up, as the trickle charge isn’t enough to charge up the battery in full by itself. It only provides a 10% trickle charge a day if put up with a reasonable battery level to start, and it will need about 8 hours to charge.
