Wiring in with old doorbell

I got a new ring doorbell, but we’re going to be moving soon, so I don’t want to unhook the old doorbell. Is there any problem with running a wire from the old doorbell to power the Ring and leave the old doorbell still functional?

Hi @user72909. When installing a Doorbell that is hardwired, you will need both wires connected to the back of the Doorbell.
