Wires Ring Video Doorbell Pro - Lost Power After 30 Mins

troubleshooting

I recently installed a ring video doorbell doorbell pro. It had power for about 30 minutes. I took my chime (which wouldn’t stop making noise before lost power) apart, and it has three wires going into a circuit (looks like it says “front”, “back”, “Conv”). I have the power kit that came with the doorbell ![image|375x500](upload://t7OSyHLT95EY520RXYeJLBELkgT.jpeg) . The chime is broken so I’d prefer to just cut wires off the circuit and not use it. What should I do to get this to work?

Hi @user36183. For the original Video Doorbell Pro, you can utilize the Pro Power Kit in order to bypass the chime. For instructions on how to do that, please reference [this](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005974466-How-to-Bypass-your-Internal-Doorbell-Chime-with-the-Pro-Power-Kit-v2-for-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro-) Help Center article. Note that you would not cut your chime kit out with this installation process, you would just be bypassing it so that it is not triggered by the Doorbell and your Doorbell receives enough power.
