My Ring doorbell suddenly stopped its trickle charge. Nothing has changed on my end. The voltage coming out is within the range recommended by Ring. The app says it’s hardwired and charging but in a matter of 16 hrs it went from 100% to 70. Something is going on here. Was there an update pushed out that is affecting the battery? Any help is appreciated.
Hi @user75547. How old is your battery? What is the average temperature outside? Did you happen to have a more than average amount of motion events? Also, what is the RSSI for the device? These are things that can affect battery drain.
