Wired ring doorbell intermittently enters bootup loop

Hi, Just received my hardwired doorbell and fitted it. Got it all setup however every few hours it crashes out comes offline and enters start up/boot up mode repeatedly with the start up sound going off every 15 seconds indefinitely in a repeat cycle. The only way to stop this is to reset by holding the orange button for 10 seconds. What can be causing this? Is it a faulty unit?

Hi @user7214. Which model of Ring Doorbell do you have? You can find which model you have by looking at the original packaging, at the back of the device, or on the Device Health page in the Ring App. Also, what is the RSSI on the Device Health page? The RSSI is a measure of the wifi connection that your Doorbell is receiving, which you can read more about here.
