Wired Home Door Chime Not working

Just got my RING video doorbell configured. Fortunately I also bought a wireless CHIME device because despite the instructions on how to connect my existing doorbell (Hampton Bay 1003 008 632) for use with RING, as soon as my RING device was online my home doorbell stopped working… I’ve searched online for others with similar issue but came up empty handed… Is this common? Is there a workaround?

I appreciate any help on this!


Hi @ac30fan. What model Doorbell do you have? You should be able to find this information on the Device Health page of your Doorbell in the Ring app. This extra information will help me look into your concern.
