We have our ring bell hardwired. However, the battery keeps dying so I’m not sure what the problem is.
Hi @Tgm. Since you’re concerned about battery drainage, please read our Community post here. It will give you some insight as to why your battery may be draining and what to do to help with the drain. Hope this helps! 
I’m having the same problem. I wired mine up via a transformer and required risistor. I have power at the ring doorbell, but the internal battery is still draining. Being hard-wired should negate the battery from draining, am I correct?
