My Christmas tree lights twinkle and some strobe. When my alarm is in Away mode, will this effect trigger my motion detectors and set off the alarm?
Try out the Motion Detector test mode to be sure!
Lights should not be enough to trigger your motion detector, but an abrupt enough change in lighting or the environment, should be tested or considered when mounting. You can also adjust motion sensitivity in the Ring app. I hope this helps!
