WiFi disconnect after power outage

Ring Doorbell Pro.

We have frequent power outages in our neighborhood and the doorbell fails to reconnect when the power comes back even with a short blip.

I’m constantly having to set the device up as a new device.

I’m paying for the cloud based recording and after resetting the device for the sixth time this year I’m a little annoyed.

I don’t know the device is offline unless I happen to check the recordings ( turned off notifications) so the “security” I thought I was getting is non-existent.

Had I known this I would’ve look at the competitors.

Anyone else have this? Support said this is expected behaviour (really? Must have missed that in the marketing material).
