3 times in the past month my whole ring alarm has shown offline, and it has taken over 10 minutes before the 5G back up and kicking in to the the EE mobile network. However the Ring base unit and the ring camera has remained showing on my home network and they were both sending and receiving data, So there is no issues when the home broadband service.
All 3 times this has happened when no-one was home and each time the ring app has said that it has made 3 attempts to contact me but my phone only rang once and I picked up the call, No other missed calls.
This worked perfectly for the 1st 18 months however in the past 6 months this system has had to be reset twice as stuck on system updating…
Can someone please tell me why the whole Ring alarm was showing as offline via the app including the the base and the camera but they was still showing as connected to my home network…Also if the broadband was down why is took over 10 minutes before the 5G data back up to take over the signal…
