When people ring my doorbell they cannot hear me speaking to them.
Hi there, @Therese2art! Whenever an event is triggered from your Video Doorbell (i.e. rings, motions) you can “answer” it live on your mobile device. To do this, bring up the live event on your mobile device, or trigger a live view, and then hit the green toggle to answer. You can also confirm audio with the speaker and microphone icons at the bottom of the video screen.
If this is not working for you, please check your mobile device permissions (microphone) for the Ring app, and also that nothing on the mobile device is be interfering, such as a VPN or poor connection. Feel free to also check out our Community post about RSSI for tips on optimizing wifi signal, which would in turn resolve any audio concerns related to connection. I hope this helps!
