I am considering switching to a wifi 6 mesh system, just wondering what to expect with my ring security an doorbell pro. I have read several issues with the doorbell and dont want to lose all the money that I have paid for the system.
Hi @mrfsw3120. When you’re switching your router or modem, the only thing you need to be aware of in regards to your Ring device is that you’ll need to update the wifi network in the Ring App. This is a pretty quick process that should only take you a few minutes, and you can find detailed steps in our Help Center Article here. Once you change the wifi network that your Doorbell is connected to in the Ring App, you should be good to go.
