Even though I have my new Ring Car Cam connected to Amazon Alexa via the Ring and Amazon apps I cannot seem to access the Car Cam through Alexa commands. I was hoping I could at least view the camera feed on my Echo Shows and Firesticks. What is possible/available with this device connections and is there a guide anywhere with available Alexa commands?
Hi @tmozer3. The Ring Car Cam is not compatible with Alexa or Alexa Auto at this time. I checked the Feature Request board, and another neighbor has created this request asking for the Car Cam to be integrated with Alexa. I’d recommend adding your feedback and vote to this request, as we use the Feature Request board to gather and share new ideas with our teams. Thank you!
