I’ve had my ring doorbell for about 6 months now and it was working fine, but in the last month or so it has started to play the startup sound every half an hour or so.
I’ve just worked out that when it plays this sound it corresponds to it doing a health check. So it appears that there’s a bug in the health check routine that is causing the doorbell to reboot, triggering the sound. Is there a fix for this problem?
Hi @TinkertyTonk. Try resetting your Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is complete, set your Doorbell back up in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device.
