Video on new Cam does NOT record every time there is motion. Example: It does NOT record a person walking up my drive-way (in my zone), BUT it records when they leave… or reverse. Can this be fixed or should I go back to the store and exchange it for another one?
A video recording will only happen when an event is triggered. A motion event , ring event, or live view will be recorded as long as you have a Protect Plan subscription. The best next step will be to fine tune motion settings to ensure you are capturing the activity you desire. Motion settings, mounting angle, environmental factors, and wifi interference can impact the optimization of motion detection. I hope this helps!
