Video Doorbell rings randomly
I have 2 Video Doorbells (2nd Gen) hardwired to my NuTone LA70MA doorbell. At night the doorbell has been ringing only on the NuTone doorbell, not on the Ring, once or twice a week. This seems (I can’t XXXX% prove it though) to happen when my ISP has an internet outage or is performing maintenance. During an extended internet outage last month the doorbell rang continuously for about 15 minutes until I disconnected power to it. Has anyone ever had an issues like this? I’ve checked everywhere for cabling issues, but I haven’t found any. But it may be Ring related since it happens during internet outages.

Hi @juxtapoz15. If you have verified there are no issues with your wires causing this, try factory resetting your Doorbell and then reconnecting it to your wifi to see if it helps. To factory reset your Doorbell press and hold the setup button on it for 20–25 seconds. If you have tried this step and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call to further investigate this with you.
