Video Doorbell (Gen 1) showing hardwired but it’s not?
troubleshooting
power-issue

My doorbell won’t hold it’s charge. After removing the device from the app and adding it again today it seems to think it is a hardwired device. I’ve never had it hardwired in 2 and a half years. Can anyone advise me how to fix it? ![image|231x500](upload://flqbwUxPoIO3eJvRogfwLwwAwgV.jpeg)

Hi @JordSagg. I would suggest performing a reset on the device. You can do this by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then releasing it. Once this is complete, you can reconnect it to WiFi. After a short update, your Doorbell should reflect the correct status. If not, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406).
