Video doorbell 3 hard wiring

troubleshooting
Hi,I live in quite a cold place during winter making the battery drain incredibly quick. Because of this I would like to hardwire the video doorbell 3 plus.I am wondering if for this I can purchase the ring din transformer as offered in the ring shop? From descriptions it’s not very clear to me if I can use this or should buy something else? Thanks in advance,Mark

Hi @markvdp. The DIN transformer will be hardwired into your mains power. Another option is the Plug-In Adapter Gen 2, which plugs into a standard wall outlet. Both will work, but the DIN transformer may require a qualified electrician for installation.
