When I purchased the Ring Doorbell 2 it was my understanding that motion alerts or when the doorbell rang that the video would automatically open. That is not happening on my phone which is a Moto g7. My app is up to date. It’s frustrating to have to manually open the video which wastes time. Was I told incorrectly about the video and alerts?
It doesn’t automatically open for alerts unless your in the app using it. It won’t automatically open on any device. The echo show will tell you and you must tell it to show you.
