Will you need to change the mounting plate of a Doorbell 2 to use a Doorbell 3 or 4?
Hi @MisterKenn. Yes, if you are upgrading to a new model of doorbell, the old mounting hardware will not match up. Each doorbell has it’s own specific footprint that will require its own mounting bracket. I hope this helps.
