Very slow response when away (and WiFi is fine)

The main reason to get the Ring doorbell 3 is to be able to communicate with delivery persons while away. Turns out that is the one thing it cannot do. It is incredibly poor performance for such an expensive doorbell.

The mobile rings and then when I try to connect it usually fails once or twice and by the time I can connect tintje doorbell the person will be gone. Amazon tries to blame it all on WiFi, but in my case WiFi is confirmed very strong and fast and next to the doorbell.

When at home my mobile instantly connects to the doorbell and I can communicate with the person. Of course, I can then also just walk to the door.

Amazon, please solve the performance issue and stop putting the blame on your customers and their WiFi. Just fix it!

Hi @heikneuter. What is the RSSI for this device? When connecting to Live View, are you tapping on the notification or are you initiating Live View from the Ring app? What type of phone are you using and what version of the Ring app is installed?
