Verify Local Emergency Dispatch Number

I have had a few different alarm systems over the years, each having their own monitoring centers. Each time I have had a system installed I have been asked to provide my local emergency services phone numbers. How does the Ring monitoring center know what my local emergency services phone numbers are? Is there a way to confirm that the monitoring center will be contacting correct municipality during an emergency?
