Using ring without the bell

Hi,

I want to start using ring at home, but due a remodeling we’ve decided to not use the bell, but leverage the existing wires.

Question is, can I remove the bell, close the circuit, remove door bells and then connect ring? or would that cause any kind of short circuit? Any other suggestion to that.

Hey @Serba. What kind of Ring Video Doorbell do you have? If you go to ring.com/help, you can search for a Help Center Article that tells you how to wire your Doorbell directly to a transformer, but I’m happy to find it if you’re unable to.
