Hi I want to upgrade my wired 1st gen ring doorbell to a pro 2 doorbell. I am told it has a different size and transformer. I saw there might be an upgrade kit I can buy online here. And is there a doc of how to upgrade or a video?
Hi @user67766. There is no upgrade kit available on Ring.com. There is a Retrofit Kit to easily replace your original Doorbell with the Pro 2, so you can conceal any reminders of your previous device. I would also recommend making sure your transformer matches the specs a Pro 2 requires, which is a 16–24 VAC/24VDC, 10–40 VA max, 50/60Hz transformer.
