hey so i got the Ring doorbell 1st generation like 3 weeks ago and just this morning i logged into the app and it states “battery unknown” and when i click the battery icon it states “battery in front door is low charge” but it’s 100% charged … i wasn’t sure if i should just return it cause it’s broken or …? and the weirdest thing is i still get motion and doorbell press alerts via timeline but no live feed. ive tried to reset my ring directly by pressing the orange button for 15 seconds but still nothing. ive tired to disconnect my device and reconnect and it still says “battery unknow” the first gen is kinda old…? maybe i should upgrade to the 4?
