I have a ring doorbell plus one chime. Both recently stopped working.
I played around with some settings in the phone app, and the chime seems to be working again. However, I cannot get notifications on my iPhone or iPad to work.
Everything shows as connected in the Ring apps. I can live view and see previous events. The doorbell will ring outside and now will again ring the chime.
When I attempt to turn Ring alerts or Motion alerts “on” in the Ring app, I get a notice that Notifications are “disabled.” When I go to “settings” everything is still turned on. Allow Notifications, Sounds, Badges, Microphone, Background App Refresh, Cellular Data… all activated. The Ring app will still not let me turn on any alerts.
I have tried turning notifications off then on again. No help.
