Unable to live view?

I have a hardwired ring doorbell, and am currently unable to live view from the app. If I try to live view I get an all black screen, and to see from the doorbell I have to then cancel the connection and watch the capture back as a past event. I have reset the device through the app, turned it on and off again, updated the app and checked software updates. Any advice on how to fix?

Hi @user39466. It’s likely not a connection issue, since you are able to watch the Live View recording back from the Event History, but I’d recommend checking the signal strength just to be sure. I have the same issue and it happens when in full screen mode on Android phone.
When I reduce the screen size to 1/3 it works.
It used to work in full screen mode too, so it must be a software thing which Ring should address.
