Unable to access Ring on new device

My Ring Doorbell worked fine until I bought a new Google Pixel 4. I installed the app but Ring doesn’t recognize my device and I can’t even add myself as a user.

I’ve tried to reinstall the doorbell, scan the code on the back and it all comes back to ask the owner to add you as a user.
