Two Way Talk

I have a brand new Ring doorbell. In live view I can activate the microphone, but the phone is red not green and the person outside and I cannot talk to each other.

Hi @Gutsy4. When viewing your Live View on your phone in the Ring app, the red phone icon will always remain red. That icon is used to end the Live View. To activate your two-way audio, make sure the microphone and speaker icons are not slashed. This Help Center page will give you more information on how to use Live View. I hope this helps!
