Two way talk with echo dot

Question

I’ve just purchased a second gen echo dot and a Ring video doorbell - I’ve tried everything to enable me to speak to doorbell but with no luck!! I’ve tried everything - it is connected to ring as it says there is someone at the door but I can’t talk - echo bot says it isn’t configured or something - can anyone please help???

We have this Help Center [page](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017596112-Two-Way-communication-through-Amazon-Echo-devices) with steps for enabling two-way communication through Amazon Echo devices. If your Echo Dot is still saying it is not configured, the next best step would be to contact [Alexa support](https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202009680).
