When someone pressing the doorbell it hear a sound, the recognizable ring-tune. Where could I turn off or adjust the sound?
Hi @Remco74. You can adjust the alert tone that is played on your phone in the Ring App. Open the Ring App > Main Menu > Devices > your Doorbell > Device Settings > Alert Settings > App Alert Tones. You can adjust it for rings and motions individually. I hope that helps clear things up!
@Caitlyn_Ring -That was not an answer to the original question. Remco74 and I want to know how to make the doorbell device be quiet? The doorbell on the porch notifies anyone walking by someone is on the porch and often it may be someone leaving a package. The noise is annoying and we would like to silence it. Turning the sound on the phone off is easy, how do we turn the sound on the device off?
To turn the volume down on the Video Doorbell unit itself,
- open the Ring App
- Tap the 3 lines at the top left (Menu)
- Select Devices
- Select your Doorbell
- Tap Device Settings
- Choose General Settings
- adjust the Doorbell Ringer Volume.
Hope this helps.
Correct. My question is that ugly sound the one hear when they pushed the button. Not the sound I hear on a chime or on my phone
