Transferring ownership from my old account

I have lost access to my old ring account + email. I am trying to add my ring camera to my new ring account through the app but it keeps telling me that it’s not possible. I do understand this is due to ring security which I appreciate. The ring app says to unplug the camera from power for 24 hrs and then try again. Will it work after 24hrs? If not, how can I fix this issue? I really hope there is a quick solution. I use the camera for security :confused:
