Hi all. Can I please find out how to transfer the account of our Ring Floodlight and stick up cam to the new owner if we sell our house? Thanks
Glad you asked, @Ghey2! We have a quick and convenient change of ownership process, just for this scenario. As you are the owner currently, and expected to leave these devices for the new owners/ transfer ownership, please ensure you remove the devices from your Ring account when you move. This will make it easy for the new owners to setup the devices.
To remove a Ring device from your account:
- Visit your Ring app main menu, select devices, and visit each Ring device individually.
- From each individual device page in your Ring app, select the Device Settings tile.
- In the Device Settings section, please select General Settings.
- There will be an option to “Remove Device”.
