I am going to cancel my ring protect plan because Ring does not sell replacement tape when a contact sensor falls down. You cannot use 3m tape as they suggest because it does not fit because of the indentation on the sensor
Hi @user80955. The adhesive tape included with Ring Contact Sensors is similar to standard double-sided adhesives, such as 3M tape. When I moved, I used the velcro 3M strips to install my Contact Sensors, as the velcro made it easy to remove them when needed to replace the battery or troubleshoot. I hope this helps!
