I cannot talk through my Mac desktop to my Ring. I have 2 monitors with mics, and I have a Logitech camera with a built in mic. I have tried each device/mic, but cannot talk with people at my front door. I hear sound from the Ring (birds/cars/people talking), I just cannot talk or answer the door through the many Mac computer mics. Please advise.
P.S. There is no Preferences panel I can find in Ring software to designate which mic to use.
Hi there, @Zoogy77! If you are using the Ring desktop app, check out our help center article about recent updates to Ring.com. When wanting to Live View via Ring.com, please ensure you are using one of the following browsers:
Desktop - Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera.
Mobile device - Google Chrome (android), Samsung internet.
Please also ensure there is not a vpn enabled. I hope this helps!
