Suppress motion alerts when workers are here

Im not sure how to configure the system not to alert on motion when workers are at the home, yard crew, etc. Without turning the ring doorbells off, we get motion detected on our amazon alexa system over and over. I just want to know where to suppress the motion alerts, but still record and alert if someone presses the ring button. Please advise.

Hi there, @Bscrizzle08! Motion Scheduling is perfect for this, as you can schedule times when you want motion to record but not notify. It is important to note, that this applies to your Ring app, but does not apply to your Alexa enabled devices. To avoid those devices alerting, follow these steps from this Amazon help page:

  1. Open the Alexa app .
  2. Open More and select Settings .
  3. Select Notifications .
  4. Select a feature or service, and use the toggle to turn notifications on or off.

Alternatively, you can adjust or edit your Alexa routine in the Alexa app to make a more permanent change. I hope this helps!
