spotlight cam about 3 years old now exhibiting many problems. motion detection and recording stopped weeks ago. linked videos as shown in the ring app but cannot be viewed. also Live View does nothing. signal strength ok, is hardwired so power is on. last thing is lights turn in and stay on 7x24 even after I turn off manually. they turn back on with linked motion and just stay on. time to buy a new camera?
Hi @PX1. Have you tried performing a full reset and new setup on your Spotlight Cam? If not, I’d recommend doing so as this is a good troubleshooting step to take to clear up performance issues. To reset your Camera, you’ll want to hold down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. Once that’s done, you’ll want to set the Camera up in the Ring App again by following the steps under Set Up a Device. Let me know if that helps.
