Hi- on 3rd of March my ring doorbell 2nd gen stopped connecting to my WiFi - been trying to reconnect ever since it wouldn’t do it . Now it appears the whole unit has stopped working as wont light up or anything . Yes have charged it. Keep calling the helpline number but can’t get through just get a message saying it has not been possible to connect your call … any advice out there??
Hi @Julie4. A good step to try is a reset of the Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is complete, try setting the Doorbell back up in the Ring App to see if it will successfully connect to the wifi network. If that doesn’t do the trick, you can give our support team a call at one of the numbers available here. We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 here to see how to contact support. As long as you call during the hours of operation, you should get through to a member of our support team.
Mine did the same thing on the same day and same issue and have been trying for weeks and won’t re connect and can’t get any help. It’s ridiculous
