Still registered at old owner

Bought a Ring doorbell online but it was still registered on the old owner. Cannot install it on my account. Old owner doesn’t contact anymore. Anyway to bypass this? HELP!


Hi there, @Jaywild! You are certainly doing everything correctly here. When you attempt a setup on a previously owned device, it will request the change of ownership, in which the prior owner can remove it from their account . Check out our Change of Ownership process here.
