My battery operated stick camera doesn’t seem to be working properly. It is not recording motion. I do have it pointing out a window. I have tried it with and without infrared. I have it set up to take snap pictures and it is not doing that either. It does do live views. What am I doing wrong?

It will not work through a window. Turn it round into the room and try again. I expect it’ll work perfectly pointing into room
