Stick up cam with solar

I have the stick up cam and we got the solar panel to change the battery during the day. I've only had this setup for just over a week and it was working great now the battery isn't charging it says that it's on power supply. I not sure why it's not charging now. I've also noticed that it's not always turning on when there's movement outside in front of it.
