Hi,

I recently purchased the cam and there are 2 parts of the power cable. The Outdoor cable appears to be about 2 meters in length. If the point at which this cable enters my home is more than 2 metres, would I be better off going with the solar powered version?

Good question @F1N1! If you prefer to have the plug in power operating your Cam, I recommend checking out our Plug in Adapter, as it is 4.5 m. (14.7 ft.). If this is still not long enough to reach any outlet, the Solar option would certainly be the best choice. :slight_smile:

i think you need to read other threads about that model camera before you install or buy any accessories for it.
