Stick Up Cam Wired (Elite) not turning on and very hot to touch

My Stick Up cam wired (Elite) went offline at exactly 02:30AM recently and it will not turn on. It is powered via Ethernet for data and PoE. It feels very hot to the touch but does not turn on and pressing the orange button has no effect (no blue light etc).
The device is in a sheltered spot that gets no direct sunlight.
When I plug in the USB power adapter it still does not turn on, but feels cool to the touch.
The device is around 3 years old so out of warranty.
Is there a way to reset these devices without using the orange button?
Are they prone to overheating?

Hi @Labrajaws. If the Camera is offline, the only way to reset it is by pressing and holding the setup button for 20–25 seconds. You can also plug the POE adapter into a different outlet to see if it makes a difference.
