Stick up cam sound volume

When recently installing a counter mounted stick up cam I began to notice that anyone picked up in the live video could not hear my commands. Not until the individual was 2 feet away from the stick up cam were they able to hear me. When i called Ring on how to adjust the volume level so that persons could hear the commands from me from an off site location, I was told that that was as loud as it gets, it is some type of design flaw. This unacceptable. How can I notify an intruder that security has been notified and on its way and that we have your image. This is not a good thing. I need to be able to speak and be heard. The 2-Stick up cam's that Ring sent to me to replace the two older models that were not working at least had enough audio volume to be heard. Help

Hi @user22512. If you are having audio and sound concerns, you can try the following troubleshooting steps: * Verify that your Camera is mounted approximately five to seven feet off the ground for best performance. * Verify your Camera's [signal strength, also known as RSSI, is at an acceptable number](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-your-ring-device-rssi-good-vs-poor/229). * [Reboot your Camera from the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-How-to-Reboot-your-Ring-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-from-the-Ring-App-). This Help Center page [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050175212-Audio-and-Sound-Issues-Troubleshooting-Guide) has additional steps to try for your concern as well. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, follow up with our support team once more at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). Hi, I've just put up a Stick Up Cam outdoors. The volume from the speaker is atrocious, as is the siren. You basically have to be standing directly below the cam to hear the person on the other end. What is the point of having 2-way audio capability if the volume at the cam end is too low to be useful. I'd have thought the idea of a speaker/siren is to attract the attention of someone you can see in the video. This thing is not a doorbell where the person is standing right in front of it. It is a security camera with a wide field of view, designed and intended to cover a wide area. It seems that louder audio, or at least adjustable volume is a many year ongoing "feature request" that does not seem to be being addressed.
