New cam just installed with a solar panel and on the app under this cam it doesnt show a solar connection but my Doorbell and other cam has a line item that shows the solar charging… anybody else have this problem?
Hi @SamuelJ. Try disconnecting the Solar Panel and ensuring it and the connection are free of dirt and debris. After that, reset your Stick Up Cam by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. Then you’ll want to set it back up in the Ring App with the steps under Set Up a Device and reconnect the Solar Panel. Make sure the Solar Panel is receiving at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight per day in order for it to provide a trickle charge to your Camera.
