We purchased the camera before heading South for 3 months, 3 days after we left we had a power outage, everything came back up except the wifi camera. I have spoken to “help” twice, and they explained that someone has to actually be in the home to re-set the camera. This totally defeats the purpose of having a security system when you are away.
I cannot understand that when we do have a power outage when we are home, cell phones, tablets and even wifi desktop all start up no problem. I think this is definitely something that needs to be checked out more by Ring.
